Powered by fitness experts Functional Fitness and JLG Fitness & Wellbeing, Farming Fit at the Rhynd is your ultimate outdoor farmyard workout.
Get ready for ropes, tyres, tractor pulling (yes, really!), jumps, box jumps, farmers’ carries and hurdles. Anyone can do it, whether you last moved from the sofa in 2016, or you are trying to qualify for the World’s Strongest Man competition (OK, you may be slightly out of our league).
Workouts are fun, completely different from your conventional gym or outdoor bootcamp, and are accessible to all fitness levels and abilities. Get outdoors, burn those calories, and take a huge big gulp of that fresh countryside air. Prepare to not only get fit, but ‘Farming Fit’ at the Rhynd.
The Rhynd Café owner, Ed Foster, recently commented: “I hate exercise, so much so that I find time spent on walks to nowhere in particular quite frustrating. With Functional Fitness, we wanted to create something that was first and foremost fun. The fact that you get super fit at the same time needs to be an added bonus! If I enjoy it, there’s hope for everyone…”
Farming Fit at the Rhynd officially started on Friday 5 April. We now have classes, whatever the weather(!), at 8am every Friday, 9am every Saturday and Sunday. The classes are powered by fitness experts Functional Fitness and JLG Fitness & Wellbeing, alongside a healthy dose of energy, enthusiasm and pumping tunes! You don’t need any previous fitness, or farming experience!
The Rhynd Café will be open as usual, ready to serve hearty breakfasts, protein shakes, or a nice hot tea or coffee.
